Pirate Galaxy

The second project at Splitscreen Studios I was involved with was "Pirate Galaxy" where I had similar tasks to the at Dino Storm. But while Dino Storm was more an open world where the Player decided, Pirate Galaxy is more an Story driven MMO where you meet other players which will become friends or foes in the endgame. Also Pirate Galaxy beeing an more complete project compared to Dino Storm, it was more the task to analize ingame habits of playPlayers the economics and less the creation of concepts.

Again my first bigger subproject was the redesign of the tutorial which guides and teaches the player the basics of the game.

I was assigned to creating concepts for features and story that might continue the already far developed background of the game, to increase the lifetime and the content.

The Result was a Player voting driven episodical solarsystem and the challenge planets where Players could in Groups grind resources for a highscore and beat up each other on a two week cycle.

I were also seponsible for several events where Players would hunt for limited items.
